


Jonathan Fischer has over 42 years of food industry experience specializing in global food safety, quality and regulatory affairs in the poultry, baked goods, dairy/plant-based beverages and agricultural supply chain industries. He has broad experience in design and implementation of Food Safety, QMS and Supply Chain risk and monitoring systems. He is a champion of the benefits a company gains through having a strong Culture of Quality and Culture of Food Safety program. He is passionate and adept in defining and delivering a culture of continuous learning and the role that people development plays in assuring long term success in FSQ&R organizations.
He is the former Group Vice President of Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory and Executive at HP Hood. In that position he led corporate and operational food safety, quality, and regulatory affairs. He advised ownership, LLC board members and executive leadership peers on Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory risk management/mitigation and compliance. He aligned functional priorities with corporate strategy to ensure responsible stewardship of financial and human capital. He was previously at Cargill as a Global Vice President of Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory of the Agricultural Supply Chain based in Singapore, Global Vice President of Food Safety and Quality for Cargill Poultry and prior was based in Sao Paulo, Brazil directing Food Safety and Quality of the South American food businesses. He held multiple leadership roles at Kraft/Nabisco and Tyson Foods.
He is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he obtained both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Poultry and Food Science.
